Hello World
Hi, I'm Ruben! Welcome to my very first blog post ever!
First, let me share a little bit about myself. I'm married to a wife and have two kids, a girl and a boy. I am a fan of Honda sports cars having owned a Honda CRX Del Sol which I sold to buy my current daily driver which is a Honda S2000 AP1. I have been interested in technology (particularly programming) from a very early age. My father used to let me sit on his lap whilst he wrote small basic programs on an Atari 130xe which is how my passion on technology started. I have always worked in the technology sector. I started off as a computer technician/system administrator, later on as a software developer. I'm currently leading a number of software development teams.
I've been an avid reader of Scott Hanselman's blog. You should consider reading it on a regular basis if you have never visited his blog. Recently I came across a couple of his posts from 2012:
These blog posts inspired me to start writing my own blog.
I will be using this blog to share my experience and insights I have gained throughout my time working in the technology sector. In particular I envisage that most of my blog posts will be technical in nature aimed at developers. I'll be blogging mostly on these areas:

- ASP.Net
- Cloud
- Internet of Things
I will probably also blog on my experience teaching aspects of technology to my kids. I look forward to having discussions with my audience via comments left in the blog, your constructive feedback will be greatly appreciated.
